Our January 2010 retreat in conjunction with Mojo Surf was a great
success and we're planning dates for the next one. It will be held at our beautiful Tallows Beach venue where you can swim in the ocean or walk along the beach during the day in between yoga, meditation and a choice of water activities - surfing and kayaking.
This retreat is ideal for people who have joined us on retreat before and are looking for a new experience with added variety, it's also great for couples with different interests. A strong body helps create a strong mind and the retreat is a safe and fun environment to explore this.
The retreat is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the yoga lifestyle and enjoy a comprehensive and authentic experience of yoga every day, with the support of an experienced team who have been running retreats and surf holidays for many years.
Water activities are a great way to develop core strength which is important to protect the lower back in yoga, it also helps you move with greater awareness from the centre of your body, providing greater protection and stability. Being in the ocean is a great way to clear the mind and be in the body while enjoying the natural environment.
For those of you who have joined us on retreat before, the schedule will be similar with 6am and 4pm yoga. However instead of the 10am dynamic yoga class, there will be a three hour session from 9am - midday where you can join in surfing lessons or kayaking on the bay.
The schedule is flexible so you can join in as much or as little as you choose and make it your ideal relaxing or active retreat vacation.

If you'd prefer to create your own retreat experience with a flexible program of up to three yoga classes daily, free time, massage treatments and optional evening entertainment you may like to join a Yoga Retreat which offers more focus on yoga and meditation.
