A 3 Day Wellness Retreat is a great way to take time out to relax and reset. You can enjoy a healthy break in beautiful Byron Bay and benefit from the tranquil atmosphere of Byron Yoga Retreat Centre. With Wellness sessions and yoga classes designed to offer advice you can take home with you, this retreat will continue to nourish you long after you leave.
The program includes all workshops and yoga classes, delicious vegetarian meals and accommodation plus a massage or treatment at the Wellness Centre.
You will have the opportunity to relax by the heated 20m mineral salt swimming pool or on the iconic beaches of Byron Bay. If you can take the time to join the 8 Day or 5 Day Wellness Retreat then you would also benefit from free time every afternoon and you will have the chance to opt for extra activities such as surfing or kayaking.
Make the most of the weekend and arrive early! The program runs from 3pm Friday afternoon to 3pm Sunday afternoon. However, you are welcome to arrive anytime on the Friday and use the pool, go to the beach or wander into town. Just let us know if you would like lunch that day – or if you would like to book a massage for your arrival day. From 2pm you can meet your retreat host and have access to your room.

Your Wellness program starts when you arrive. Arrive early on the Friday to relax and unwind and perhaps book your treatment. Following the opening circle at 3pm you will enjoy a deeply nurturing Restorative Yoga Class before your first dinner – these delicious meals are a highlight!
Each day starts with either a gentle yoga class or a walk to the iconic lighthouse. The program is flexible so you can always choose to opt out of a session. The main Wellness Workshop is after breakfast and offers sessions on nutrition, mind/body/spirit wellbeing and ongoing wellness.
The afternoon yoga classes are either restorative or yin yoga that are both deeply relaxing and healing for the body and nervous system.
A highlight for many guests is the treatment at the Wellness Centre included in your 3 day package. You can choose from a variety of massage styles and there is always the option for extra treatments at an additional cost.

The yoga is a system we call Purna, a traditional hatha style with an emphasis on correct alignment and intelligent sequencing. Purna translates as complete or whole and this is reflected in the premise that we teach not just the physical postures but also an integrated approach with breath awareness (pranayama), meditation and philosophy. With the Purna system students can work at their own level, options are given for variations and modifications allowing for beginners to practice alongside experienced students.
