Experience makes the difference

When you make the pivotal decision to embark on yoga teacher training, you know you’re in safe hands with Byron Yoga Centre.  Byron Yoga Centre is one of the longest running yoga schools in the country, established in 1988. We are also one of the few yoga teacher training providers operating as an RTO (Registered Training Organisation). Byron Yoga Centre offers the highest possible qualification in yoga teaching, so you can feel confident you’ve chosen the best.

Byron Yoga Centre has partnered with the IXL Lounge to offer Part time Level 1 (and Level 2) trainings. The trainings are run over 3 non-residential weekends in Hobart plus a 6 day residential intensive in Byron Bay at Byron Yoga Retreat Centre. The price includes all training sessions, training manual plus accommodation and meals for your stay in Byron Bay (airfares not included).

This is an ideal way to spread your yoga teacher training between part time and intensive components including some online elements and journaling of self-practice.

Students can begin the online study as soon as they have registered for the course. The weekends at IXL Lounge in Hobart start in March 2017 and will be led by Deborah Carwana with support from John Ogilvie, founder of Byron Yoga Centre.

To complete the training in June students will spend 6 days at Byron Yoga Centre to benefit from sessions led by some of Australia’s most experienced yoga teachers.  This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from and be mentored by highly trained yoga teachers and teach public yoga classes.

Byron Yoga Centre’s part time Teacher Training Course in Hobart / Byron Bay is a Level 1 200-hour Teacher Training course accredited with Yoga Alliance.
