Payment Policy:

A $600 deposit is payable upon application and fully refunded immediately if the applicant is not accepted into the course.

Full payment is due six weeks prior to course start date and participants agree to pay any outstanding balance no later than this date.

Waitlist Policy

If the course is full, we still accept bookings and your deposit of $600 will hold a place on the wait list.

If we’re unable to confirm your place, you will have the choice to have your deposit fully refunded or transferred to another course.

Refund Policy

Should an application to a course not be successful, the applicant will be notified within one to two weeks and the full deposit paid will be immediately refunded.

If the balance of the course fee is not received by the notified due date (six weeks prior to course commencement), a student’s place may be offered to someone on the waiting list. The student will forfeit the deposit paid.

If a student withdraws or transfers from the course, the following refund policy applies:

  • If the student withdraws 45 days or more prior to course commencement the student will receive a full refund of all monies paid, minus an administration fee of $200.
  • If the student withdraws 30-44 days prior to the course commencement the student will receive 75% of the full course fee, minus an administration fee of $200.
  • If the student withdraws 14-29 days prior to course commencement the student will receive 50% of the full course fee, minus an administration fee of $200.
  • If the student withdraws 1-13 days prior to course commencement or withdraws after the course commences, the full course fee or any monies paid, is non-refundable.

Credit Policy for Cancelled Bookings

  • 12-Month Expiry: Store credit issued for cancelled bookings is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • No Refunds: Once store credit is provided, it cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
  • Non-Transferable: Store credit is for the original recipient only and cannot be transferred.

Conversion Course

Once the Conversion Course material has been issued to the student, the course fee is non-refundable regardless of progress through the course.  The regular refund policy applies to any deposit or payments made toward a Level 2 training.

Flexible Learning Course

Once the Flexible Learning material has been issued to the student, any fees paid are non-refundable regardless of progress through the course.

Accommodation Refund Policy on Non-Residential Courses

There is no refund available should you choose to take our accommodation option on non-residential courses.

Transfer Policy

If circumstances arise that require a transfer from the course on which you have a confirmed booking or have already commenced, you will need to supply us with a request in writing.

If a wait listed participant can fill the place then you may be able to transfer your course to another applicable course at a cost of $200. The transfer fee will be waived if full course fee payment is made at the time of transfer. This option is limited to one transfer only (after this, the regular refund policy applies) and depends upon a case by case assessment of your situation.

If there are no wait listed participants to fill the space, or you have already commenced the training, the regular refund policy applies. Individual circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis for a maximum 50% discount on a similar training within 12 months of the withdrawal.

Re-assessment Policy

If you are found not competent in the final assessment, or are unable to attend the final assessment you can be re-assessed at a $120 fee.

Certificate Re-Issue Fee

If you need another copy of your certificate,  please email admin@byronyoga.com with your request and include your course and training dates. There is a $30 reprinting fee which includes postage.

The following conditions apply for International Teacher Trainings:

Byron Yoga Centre will advise re visa and travel requirements, however it is your final responsibility to ensure your travel documents are in order.

As it is the requirement of most countries, please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after return date.

Byron Yoga Centre strongly advises that you have adequate travel insurance to include full cover for the duration of your journey. Although we offer full care, we cannot accept any responsibility if you choose not to cover yourself appropriately.

Use of Written and Photographic Material

Any written material provided to Byron Yoga Centre in the form of homework, feedback forms or assignments may be used by Byron Yoga Centre for marketing purposes. Any photographs taken by Byron Yoga Centre of attendees on our teacher training, yoga classes or retreats may be used by the Byron Yoga Centre for marketing purposes.

If you would prefer we do not use any of the above material written by you or containing your image it is your responsibility to advise Byron Yoga Centre of this in a written document.

Environmental Policy

At Byron Yoga Centre we are dedicated to reduce our carbon foot print on the earth. While our courses do require printed material we endeavour to reduce this printing where possible by providing web based documents and giving students the choice as to whether they would like to receive printed material (supplementary course handouts) when possible.

Homework is provided in a web based form and will not be printed out.

SAUNA POLICY

Sauna & Pool – Terms & Conditions
Byron Yoga Centre

Use of our sauna and pool is at your own risk. Risks may include slips, overheating, fainting, or drowning. There is no lifeguard on duty. By participating, you confirm you are in good health, will follow safety instructions, and accept full responsibility for yourself and any guests in your booking.

Byron Yoga Centre is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence.

Cancellation / No Show & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your assigned sauna session, you will be issued a credit for your next sauna booking.
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before your session, you will be issued a refund or credit.

No Show Policy:

  • If you do not show up for your sauna session, you will be charged the full rate with no refund or credit.

Rescheduling Policy:

  • You may reschedule your sauna session and use the credit for another session at any time. Please provide as much notice as possible so we can free your spot for another bather.

The Byron Yoga Centre site is protected by 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer technology. This is indicated by the padlock symbol on your browser and means that all data sent between your browser and the server is encrypted, including your log in, profile and credit card details. Credit card transactions are processed immediately using a secure payment gateway to the banking system, so we do not store your credit card details and proide you with instant feedback on the status of a transaction.
