Established in 1988 by yogi legend John Ogilvie, we’re one of the longest-running and most well-respected Yoga and Wellness Centres in Australia. We offer affordable Yoga Retreats and residential Yoga Teacher Trainings. Our focus is on sustainability with solar panels, composting, recycling and rainwater tanks. We boast three acres of organic gardens which provide the main source for our vegetarian menu, and a 20m solar heated mineral salt swimming pool rich in magnesium. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Reservations Manager to manage the administration side of the business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to handle a wide range of administrative duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities and duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Respond to general enquiries (phone, email, and face to face).
  • Take bookings for retreats, trainings and accommodation.
  • Preparation for teacher trainings (merchandise forms, schedules, print certificates).
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data.
  • Meet and greet guests.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Perform other administrative support tasks as needed.
  • Data entry.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Reservations Manager or similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong customer engagement skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
  • Experience using the software Retreat Guru or other booking/reservation software is a plus.
  • Shows passion in our vision that yoga has the power to change the world.
  • Yoga experience is a plus.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist at Byron Yoga Centre, you will provide treatments to our lovely retreat guests. The work schedule may vary from week to week depending on the number of guests, so flexibility and adaptability are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional massage therapy sessions to retreat guests.
  • Ensure a relaxing and therapeutic experience tailored to each guest’s needs.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace.
  • Bring your own towels and oils for treatments.

Requirements:

  • Must be available between 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Saturdays.
  • Must have your own insurance.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
