What our students say…
My experience in the Level 2 Teacher Training course has been nothing short of transformative. I entered the training with an open heart and a general idea of what I hoped to learn, but the depth and richness of the content far exceeded anything I expected. What surprised me most was how beautifully balanced the course was, from the intellectual to the physical, the philosophical to the practical.
The deep dive into yoga philosophy opened my eyes to the true essence of the practice. Concepts I had only skimmed the surface of before suddenly became living, breathing teachings that reshaped how I view myself, my practice, and the world around me. The exploration of the Eight Limbs, yogic ethics, and the roots of the tradition created a foundation that felt both grounding and expansive. Equally profound was the detailed study of asanas. This wasn’t simply learning poses; it was understanding alignment, breath, energetics, purpose, and how to truly embody each posture with awareness. The level of anatomical insight and the care taken to teach safe, functional movement gave me a whole new appreciation for the physical practice.
Because of this training, my dreams have evolved. What began as a desire to deepen my own practice has become a passion to share this wisdom and knowledge with all my students. I now feel called to transform my working life and focus more intentionally on offering the community classes that reflect everything I have learned practices that are thoughtful, inclusive, and grounded in the profound teachings of Purna Yoga.
Overall, this training has enriched me far beyond expectation. It has inspired a new direction in my life; one where I can give back, uplift others, and continue growing alongside my community.
Undertaking the Level 2 Purna Yoga Teacher Training has been thoroughly enjoyable, insightful and I feel has set me up to be able to deliver quality teaching to my students.
I loved diving deeper into the other aspects of yoga in addition to Asanas and Sequencing. Most of the concepts that were covered I had encountered before, however, I had all the information bouncing around in my head without being able to categorise it and give it meaningful context. This course has done that for me and given me far greater depth of knowledge.
I am now on a path to teach Yoga in a way that I intended.
I did my Level 1 in Thailand a few years ago and never felt fully confident in teaching. I’m so glad I chose Byron Yoga Centre for my Level 2. The teachers were all outstanding and the group so supportive. With the conversion course and the pre-course prep work I felt fully ready to dive into the residential course and the real-life teaching practice gave me that confidence I needed to expand my yoga teaching career
