Looking to deepen your yoga practice and learning?
Many of our yoga students are wanting to take their practice and understanding of yoga to the next level, but are not looking to become a qualified yoga teacher. Our Byron Yoga Centre immersions offer just that – a deep exploration of all 8 limbs of yoga without the teacher training aspects.
Choose from a variety of different yoga immersions – from a weekend to 12 days with us, residential and non-residential, held in Byron Bay, Sydney and Melbourne. Immerse yourself in yoga studies and the yoga lifestyle, with teachers dedicated to your yoga journey.
Weekend Yoga Immersion
Our a brand new addition to the Byron Yoga Centre’s Yoga Teacher Training program is the 15-hour Yoga Teaching Immersion. This immersion is non-residential, held over a weekend at various locations in Australia such as Byron Bay, Sydney and Melbourne. It is a great way to refresh your teaching skills and launch you into your next stage of yoga teacher training.
Byron Yoga Centre founder and teacher of 25+ years, John Ogilvie, will be personally facilitating these weekends held regularly throughout the year. In these unique weekend immersions, you will continue exploring the universal principles of posture sequencing, alignment, adjustments and corrections within a supportive community of like-minded yogis.
Not only is this a great refresher for you as a yoga teacher, the 15 hours also counts towards Level 1 or Level 2 accreditation.
5 Day Meditation Immersion
Deepening the teachings of Meditation
New to meditation or looking to go deeper with your dhyana practice? Join Swami Pujan and John Ogilvie as they lead this immersion into consciousness in beautiful Byron Bay.
This is so much more than a yoga immersion or retreat. For five days, you will be guided and supported by meditation teacher Swami Pujan and other Byron Yoga Centres Senior Meditation Instructors to develop your personal practice and teach you to teach others various forms of meditation.
This retreat is suitable for beginners and experienced yogis alike, and is ideal for yoga teacher training graduates as the hours you spend in meditation practice will count towards your continued learning as required by the different yoga associations.
