This part time course is a Level 1 200-hour Teacher Training accredited with Yoga Alliance. Both options are designed to deliver our Purna Yoga holistic approach to training that encompasses not just learning about the asanas (postures) but also the many other aspects of yoga: pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, and yogic philosophy.

You can choose to attend the weekend course conducted over six months and attending one weekend each month for a total of six weekends. This option includes Friday and Saturday night accomodation and meals at Byron Yoga Retreat Centre. We also offer a non-residential alternative: you can join the group of international students for one term of our 12 month training attending two weekdays (Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday & Thursday) for 10 consecutive weeks. This option has shorter study days, includes more face to face sessions and less self study components.

Part time trainings allows you to integrate your new yoga knowledge and complete the online aspects in between the sessions. It’s an ideal flexible option for those with busy lives, and other family and/or work commitments.
